PAINGONE FLLOW

Fllow: setup, care and safety

How do I set up Fllow for the first time?

Charge Fllow and its remote for at least 2 hours before your first session. Connect the power cable to the connection point on the right-hand edge of the device (it’s magnetic and snaps into place), then plug the adaptor into the wall. Place the remote in its cradle so it charges too.

To start a session, press the power button on the device, then the power button on the remote.

How do I use the footpads?

Sit down and place both bare feet on the footpads. Tap “+” on the remote to raise the intensity one level at a time, or hold it to go faster. Aim for a level that’s strong but still comfortable, where your lower leg muscles contract on their own. Sessions last 30 minutes by default; press the timer button to choose 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

Only use Fllow while sitting or reclining. Never stand on the device.

How long and how often should I use Fllow?

Footpads: 30–60 minutes every day for best results, up to 3 hours in total per day. Arthro-Fllow knee pads: 15–30 minutes per session, 5 days a week. TENS pads: as needed, up to 30 minutes per day.

I can’t feel the stimulation. What should I do?

Raise the intensity with the “+” button. Make sure both bare feet are pressed firmly on the footpads, because Fllow automatically lowers the intensity if they aren’t. Dry feet reduce the sensation, so stay hydrated or apply moisturizer or conductive gel to the soles of your feet. Also check that the remote shows the footpad symbol; press the mode button to switch modes.

How do I charge Fllow and the remote?

When the power button turns orange, plug Fllow into the wall. Charging takes about 2.5–3 hours (the button flashes while charging and turns solid blue when done) and gives up to 36 hours of use, depending on mode and intensity.

The remote charges in its cradle while Fllow is plugged in. It takes about 2 hours and lasts up to 16 hours. Lost the remote? Press the button in the empty cradle and the remote will beep.

How do I clean and store Fllow?

Switch Fllow off and wipe it with a lightly damp cloth. Never immerse it in water, spill liquid on it, or keep it near high heat or humidity. After each use, put the protective plastic liners back on the knee and TENS pads and store them in their zip-lock bag.

When should I replace the pads?

If the gel pads start to lose their stickiness, refresh them by wiping lightly with a damp cloth or fingertip. Over time they lose their adhesion, and how long they last depends on your skin and the humidity. Replace them when they no longer stick firmly. Use only genuine Fllow pads, and don’t share pads with anyone. Shop replacement pads.

Who should not use Fllow?

Do not use Fllow if you are pregnant; have a pacemaker or other active implanted electrical device; have, or think you may have, deep vein thrombosis (DVT); have bleeding after an acute injury or fracture, or are recovering from surgery; or have epilepsy, heart disease, a malignant tumor, serious cerebrovascular disease or another acute illness unless a specialist has approved it. Fllow is not for children.

Talk to your doctor first if you have very sensitive skin, abnormal blood pressure, heart rhythm problems or recent knee surgery; take blood-thinning medication; are under a doctor’s care for your condition; or are unsure whether Fllow is right for you.

PAINGONE PLUS

Plus: setup, care and safety

How do I put the battery in?

Plus comes with one AAA battery, found in the foam under the device. Twist the orange battery cover just below the power button counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the battery with the positive (+) end first, then twist the cover gently clockwise until it’s secure. Don’t overtighten it.

How do I use Plus?

Hold Plus with your fingers wrapped firmly around the metal contact plate. Place the tip directly on the area you want to treat, then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds before releasing it. To cover a larger area, move the tip along the line of pain while it pulses. Plus also works over light clothing.

How often can I use it?

Whenever you need it, up to 4–5 times a day on each area.

I can’t feel anything. What should I do?

Make sure you’re gripping the metal contact plate firmly. Then test the tip on your fingertip. If you still don’t feel the pulses, check that the battery is inserted positive (+) end first, or replace it.

How long does the battery last?

One AAA battery gives about 800 applications, around 8 months at 3 uses a day (this varies by battery). Remove the battery if you won’t use Plus for more than a month.

How do I clean Plus?

Wipe it with a soft, slightly damp cloth and let it dry before using it. Don’t immerse it in water. To disinfect it, use an alcohol wipe.

Who should not use Plus?

Do not use Plus if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electrical device; are pregnant; have epilepsy; have severe heart rhythm problems or atrial fibrillation; have cancer or suspected cancer in the area being treated; or have had skin irritation or another reaction to TENS before. Check with your doctor first if you take anticoagulant or steroid treatments.

Never use it on injured or irritated skin or open wounds; on the front or side of the neck, on the head, or in or around the eyes; over the heart or directly over metal implants; on wet skin or skin with creams or oils; or while driving or operating machinery.

PAINGONE ELLUNE

Ellune: setup, care and safety

How do I set up Ellune?

Charge Ellune for 2 hours before first use; after that, a full charge takes about 1 hour. Apply the pads to clean, dry skin on your lower abdomen or lower back, then connect the cable. Press the power button and use “+” and “–” to choose one of 35 intensity levels.

You can clip Ellune to your waistband, and press the lock button so the settings can’t change by accident.

Can I put one pad on my abdomen and one on my back?

No. The pads can be no more than 10 cm (about 4 inches) apart. Treating your abdomen and back at the same time requires two Ellune devices.

How long can I use Ellune?

For as long as you have period pain. Remove the pads and move them to a new spot at least every 10 hours to reduce the risk of skin irritation. Don’t use Ellune while you sleep, and don’t charge it while it’s in use.

How often should I replace the gel pads?

Use one set of gel pads per menstrual cycle. At the start of each cycle, switch Ellune off, throw away the used gel pads and fit new ones. After each session, put the plastic liners back on the gel pads and keep everything in the carry bag. Shop Ellune pads.

How do I clean Ellune?

Switch Ellune off, then wipe the device and cables with a disinfectant or antimicrobial wipe, avoiding the cable connectors. Keep Ellune dry, and don’t use it while bathing or showering.

Ellune shows a connection error. What should I do?

Check that the gel pads are pressed firmly to your skin and that the cable is fully connected to the pads and to Ellune. Therapy resumes automatically at your previous level once the connection is restored. Cables and pads wear over time and can be replaced.

Can I use Ellune with medication?

Yes, Ellune can be used alongside medication you may be taking.

Who should not use Ellune?

Ellune is for people aged 16 and over who still have periods. Do not use it if you are pregnant, in labor or breastfeeding; are having fertility problems evaluated or treated; have a pacemaker or other active implanted electrical device; have, or think you may have, DVT; are recovering from surgery; or have epilepsy, heart disease, a malignant tumor, serious cerebrovascular disease or another acute illness unless a specialist has approved it. It isn’t intended for ovulation (mid-cycle) pain.

Never place the pads on your neck, chest or genitals, or over broken, irritated or numb skin, staples or metal implants.
